North American Signal Company is an American manufacturer of automotive, truck, and industrial warning lights and accessories. Based outside Chicago, North American Signal Company occupies a 45,000 square-foot facility in Wheeling, IL which includes a 20,000 square-foot warehouse added in 2003.

North American Signal Company was founded in 1962 by Julius Neiman and two other partners. The original site was located in Chicago at 2700 North Pulaski Road. From modest beginnings, the company grew through the 1960s and 70s by consistently manufacturing high quality state-of-the-art products for the police, construction, and government markets. We are proud that we continue to serve and support those customers who were introduced to North American Signal Company back then.
Since the late 1970s, North American Signal Company has been a regional leader in the industry and began to develop both national and international relationships that we still enjoy today.
In 1991, Julius Neiman's son, Bill, purchased the company and serves as the company president today.
At North American Signal Company, we are dedicated to the pursuit of perfecting LED, Strobe, and Revolving Light technologies. For over 50 years, we have manufactured highly reliable and extremely efficient light warning systems.
We continue to seek out quality distribution through traditional markets as well as striving to serve those niche customers who can take advantage of our "hands on" approach to customer care and service. The company goals and business principles that began over 40 years ago with Julius Neiman haven't changed. We look forward to continuing to set the market trend for warning lights and traffic control systems well into the twenty-first century and to make our customers' experiences good ones.
